Exclusive: The Social Network Movie Teaser Trailer, Updated with Movie Stills
Columbia Pictures has released the first teaser trailer of their new movie “The Social Network” which is based on the initial days of popular social networking site, Facebook. The movie is scheduled to release on October 1st this year.
“The Social Network” which is popularly called as “The Facebook Movie” is supposedly based on Mark Zuckerberg’s life in Harvard dorms where he developed Facebook which later became World’s number one social networking site with over 500 million users.
It is interesting to note that when the movie was being developed, Facebook did not have 500 million users and the writer got it right that by the time the movie is released Facebook will have 500 million users. The movie is based on the part of the book “The Accidental Billionaires” written by Ben Mezrich which is again loosely based on reality.
The film stars Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, Justin Timberlake as Sean Parker, is written by Aaron Sorkin and directed by David Fincher. Fincher is an A list Hollywood director who has directed popular movies like Se7en, Fight Club and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Sorkin is the man who wrote Charlie Wilson’s War, The American President and The West Wing TV series.
