Twitpic rolls out Face Tagging and Event Grouping
TwitPic has announced a new feature on its image sharing site where you can tag yours and your friend’s images on TwitPic just like how image tagging is done on Facebook.
All you have to do is just click the “Add/Edit Faces” link where you can add the persons real name or add his twitter username and then click a person on the photo. After you are done with tagging you can also tweet about what you have tagged.
Apart from this TwitPic has also added a new feature where you can group your photos based on a particular event. Previously it was very difficult for users to know which images they have posted long back. This feature will greatly help users organizing their photos properly according to event or date.
To group photos according to an event, click on any image you want and then click the “events” link on the lower right portion of the screen. Then a menu pops up where you can add add a new event or add the image to an existing event. You can add as many images to a particular event and also tweet about the whole group by just by tweeting the event URL.
