Zynga brings Farmville on iPhone

Today at Apple’s WWDC, Zynga CEO, Mark Pincus announced Farmville app for iPhone users. There is a good news for millions of Farmville’s users on Facebook that the game on iPhone will be synced with that to Facebook so they can play the game anywhere they want to either on Facebook or on iPhone.

Marrk Pincus said playing Farmville on iPhone will be a great  experiece to its users and the push notifications on iPhone will let them know when their crops are in danger of withering. He said Zynga will put some exclusive content for the iPhone version including a snow leopard where he referred to Apple’s Mac software to make the gameplay on iPhone as exiting as that on Facebook.

Currently Farmville has over 70 million users on Facebook. Zynga is is trying its best to expand its user base even more by partnering with other companies apart from from Facebook like Yahoo and 7-11 and now iPhone.

Zynga has not confirmed yet whether the Farmville app will be available for free or will be priced and what kind of revenue model they will choose for iPhone apart from in game transactions.
